Crazy group email mistakes happen...

... at three in the morning. I posted a rather ambiguous group email early this morning that, to some people, suggested that I was in Phuket or some tsunami-struck place like that and, well, yes on second reading it was rather misleading but, come on folks, it was in quotation marks and there was a hyperlink attached! Had anyone BOTHERED to follow through and they would have realised that it WASN'T me at all.

Sure I could have been a bit clearer but, hey, it was three in the morning!

Which is why blogging must be the next step up from group emails. Such confusion would never have happened if people were reading my blog because, y'know, they would have known that I was in Phuket or some tsunami-struck place like that. Then again, if I was going to Phuket or some tsunami-struck place like that I would have mentioned it in the group emails! And anyway, people don't even seem to be bothered reading what's in my group e-mails so what's the point really? I'm a bit silly about group emails anyway because I do a blanket send-out to so many people, alot of whom probably don't care anyway and especially don't care enough to reply so sometime in the future I'm going to edit my email address book down to people who have actually replied to me in the last twelve months.

But group emails will have to continue because nobody knows about this blog except for me (so am I talking to myself now? wooh! Jhuny's going a bit crazy!) and nobody will until I get a few more posts down and I personalise it a bit more. Until then it's just me and me.

Crazy!
